Precious Memories are not always about our younger generation. I recently had the honor of capturing some wonderful portraits of Mr. Hugh Johnson, his daughter Sarah, and her three children. Mr Johnson has suffered a stroke, and was not able to speak, but you could "hear" his emotions in the way he looked at his daughter and his grandchildren. So many of the images, he didn't even look at the camera, he just wanted to look at them. I wish I could have heard some of his life stories. It sounds like he had a very interesting life. I was so happy to deliver an album of images to Sarah for her and her children to have forever to remember this special man. Sarah's youngest child is just a baby, so he will not remember his grandfather, but he will have a very special portrait of himself sitting on grandpa's lap!

There are a lot of precious memories to be made with our parents and grandparents. Generational portraits are a blessing if you are able to have them done!
